Margaret Williams
works as Director of the Bering Sea ecoregion
program and Russian liaison for World Wildlife
Fund, while serving as pro-bono director of CRNC
and Russian Conservation News.
She holds a
Masters degree in Environmental Studies (1993) from
the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental
Studies. She lived and worked in Russia for several
years, where she initiated programs in conservation
and environmental education in Russian Zapovedniks,
strict scientific nature reserves. Ms. Williams
founded the first English language publication on
nature conservation in the former USSR, Russian
Conservation News.
